Full Plates, Full Hearts: A Celebration of 20 Years

Get Your Tickets Now! Join us for Full Plates, Full Hearts, presented by Delta Air Lines, on March 10, 2025, at the Delta 360 SkyClub at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. This unforgettable evening will celebrate 20 years of Second Helpings Atlanta’s impact, feeding our neighbors through resilience, innovation, and collaboration across metro Atlanta.

Together, we’ll reflect on the environmental and social impact of SHA’s food rescue network, connect with advocates and changemakers, and look ahead to a future where no plate is left empty and no heart goes unfilled.
This year, we are proud to honor Bill Bolling for his lifelong dedication to food security and community building. Bill is the co-founder and board chair of Food Well Alliance, a network supporting over 300 community gardens, urban farms, and orchards in metro Atlanta. His impact doesn’t stop there—during his 36 years as founding executive director of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Bill helped distribute over half a billion pounds of food and played a pivotal role in launching food banks nationwide through Feeding America. His mentorship of SHA’s founder, Guenther Hecht, was instrumental in shaping our organization’s mission.
Full Plates, Full Hearts wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of Delta Air Lines, our presenting sponsor.
Their partnership underscores a shared commitment to combating hunger and fostering stronger communities throughout Atlanta.

Sponsorship opportunities are now available, offering a meaningful way to support our mission and make a lasting impact in the fight against hunger.
Join us for this unforgettable evening as we honor our past, celebrate our present, and commit to building a brighter, hunger-free future for Atlanta.
